About Us: What is a CISM Team?

The Southwest Ohio Critical Incident Stress Management Team (CISM) is a group of dedicated, sensitive and specially trained professionals who help emergency personnel deal with the most stressful aspects and occurrences of their occupations. The CISM Team is comprised of emergency service support persons representing all areas of emergency care and public safety services including: Nurses, Physicians, Emergency Medical Technicians, Paramedics, Law Enforcement Officers, Fire Fighters, Dispatchers, Chaplains, and Mental Health Providers.
